On July 19, 2024, Ohmium’s Gigafactory went live.
This ISO 9001 state-of-the-art factory has an initial capacity of 2 gigawatts of annual production with an expansion potential to 4 gigawatts.
Manufacturing at the gigawatt scale, with the same statistical process control and monitoring methods as the semiconductor industry, enables not only extremely low production costs but also superior quality. According to the experts, this kind of efficiency and scale wasn’t supposed to happen until 2040.
